Day 1

Shanghai to Putuoshan: An early transfer from your hotel in Shanghai to Lushao Pier to catch the 09:30am express boat the 80km to Putuoshan island. On arrival at 12 noon you will be transferred to your Hotel. Free time to explore the islands many temples and natural features and overnight.

Day 2

|
Putuoshan: After breakfast free time to continue to explore the island's many temples and natural features many of which can be reached on foot or by utilising the tourist bus network. Overnight hotel.

Day 3
|
|
Putuoshan to Ningbo: After breakfast you will be transferred back to the pier for the express boat to Ningbo which takes two hours later. On arrival in Ningbo you will be transferred to your hotel before starting an afternoon city tour to Tian Yi Ge, Tianfeng Pagoda and the drum tower. Free time in the evening and overnight hotel.

Day 4 |
|
Ningbo to Hangzhou: An early transfer to catch the K8442 at 07:25am train to Hangzhou. A 09:40am arrival in Hangzhou with a transfer to your hotel and orientation tour to Lingyin Temple and the Six Harmonies Pagoda. Free time after tour and overnight hotel.

Day 5 |

Hangzhou: Free day in Hangzhou to relax and enjoy the West Lake area. famous throughout China for it's scenery and temples. Overnight Hotel.

Day 6 |
|
Wuzhen: After breakfast you will be collected from your hotel and driven by private car the 100 km to the Qing dynasty canal town of Wuzhen. On arrival in Wuzhen you will have a tour of the town including lunch. Overnight in a hotel in Wuzhen.

Day 7 |
|
Suzhou: After breakfast continue your journey by private car the 110 km to Suzhou with a tour on arrival visiting the Humble Administrator 's Garden and the Lingering Garden and including lunch. Free time and overnight in a hotel in Suzhou.

Day 8 |
|
Suzhou: Free day in Suzhou to further explore the city and its canals and gardens - overnight hotel.

Day 9 |
|
Suzhou to Nanjing: After breakfast you will have a transfer to the station for the train to moedern and cosmopolitan Nanjing with a transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon your will have an orientation tour of Nanjing visiting the Mausoleum of the republic’s founder, Sun Yet-sen and the Observatory on the Purple and Gold Hill. Overnight hotel.

Nanjing: Free day in Nanjing to further explore this pleasant city which was once capital of China. Overnight hotel.

Day 11 |
|
Nanjing to Huangshan: Free in the morning before a transfer to the station to catch the train to Huangshan city arriving late evening with a transfer to your hotel in the city of Huangshan.

Day 12 |
|
Huangshan: After breakfast you will have a transfer to a hotel on Mount Huangshan. The rest of the day you will have free time to explore the area visiting such attractions as “Flower Grown out of a Writing Brush Rock”, “Lion Peak”, “Flying over Rock” and “Bright Top Peak.” Overnight hotel.

Day 13 |

Huangshan: A chance to be up early to view the famous sunrise on. Therest of the day free to further explore this stunning area with further sites such as “Continue to Believe Peak”, “Refreshing Terrace”, “Cloud Dispelling Pavilion” and the “Big Valley of Xihai.” Overnight in the same hotel as last night at Mount Huangshan.

Day 14 |
|
Huangshan: Transfer from Mount Huangshan to the city with a tour of Hongcun Village to see the ancient houses and Tunxi Old Street before being transferred to the station for the overnight train to Shanghai departing in comfortable soft sleeper class.

Shanghai: Arrival in Shanghai at 10:34 witht he option for further nights in this city.
