Introducing Xinjiang Explorer
A world away from the east coast of China, Xinjiang province often seems to have more in common with it’s Central Asian neighbours than the imperial splendour of Beijing or the neon of Shanghai.
Xinjiang is a land of mountains and deserts, of oasis towns and sprawling bazaars. It is home to the Ughyer, Kazak and Tajik ethnic minorities with their nomadic traditions.
You’ll follow the awe inspiring Karakorum Highway driving along roads seemingly blasted from the mountains and in Kashgar you will see the trading vigour of the Silk Road in its bustling markets and street culture.
Altogether this trip offers you a very different China experience through China's wild west.
Please note: You will experience high altitude on this trip.
