One of the World’s legendary travel routes, the Silk Road has it all - an exotic history, tales of adventure, vivid landscapes and amazing sights to see.
This 11 day trip aims to pack in some of the main destinations along the road. Importantly, you will be travelling all the way from Beijing to Kashgar by train. This gives you the opportunity to watch China change from the packed out cities and intensive agriculture of the East coast to the vast open spaces, deserts and mountains of China’s western provinces.
Add in the highlights of Beijing and Xian, the Alpine scenery of Tian Chi and the Central Asian buzz of Kashgar and you have the makings of your own Silk Road adventure.
